While we cannot advertise "pain-free" injections because that is not really possible, the wand allows us to get as close as possible to achieving the most comfortable experience with today's technology. The wand is a pen-like device that is much less scary looking than an old-fashioned needle. It has a computer automated delivery system that delivers ultra-slow anesthetic that greatly minimizes discomfort. In fact, we often hear from patients that it was the most comfortable injection they have ever had. So if it has to be done, we will do everything to make it as comfortable as possible.
