Have you ever been to the dentist and felt like you are being tortured with all the water being used? Well, you're not alone, and we have to tell you that the use of water is essential in dentistry. We cannot turn off the water while working as it helps keep the teeth from overheating (which is bad).
But... what we can do is use a dental device called an Isolight.

This handy little device is a great aid in preventing the gagging involved in dental procedures. It is not only a mouthpiece that helps keep your mouth open and jaws less tired, but it has a small guard that is tied in with the suction. During the entire procedure the Isolite continuously suctions as much of the water out of your throat to make your experience as pleasant as possible. We have had great luck with the use of the Isolite.
